The most extraordinary run-getting cricket match of the season as yet was played at Sheffield recently, between All England and Yorkshire—All England scoring in one ummgs 624 runs, Carpenter marking 134, T. Hayward 112, G. Parr 78, W. Oscroft 54, and the rest of the All England Eleven making double figures. Yorkshire made but 125, and 143 in the two innings ; All Eng'and winning in one innings,,, with 255 runs to spare.
