This Company is formed for working on an extended scale the celebrated claim known as " Rich's," situate on the renowned Blue Spur at Tuapeka, comprising 1 acre, 1 rood, and 7 perches of land. Operations have been carried on for some time past, and the high repute in which this Claim is held is justified by its yield of gold. Upwards of ONE THOUSAND OUNCES have been already got, and the whole Claim is brought into the most efficient working order. The Head Race, Tail Race, and all requisite apparatus are complete, and merely require a small outlay for renewal as worn out. The present Proprietor will dispose of the Claim for the sum of £3OOO, which the Directors are of opinion will be a most advantageous purchase for this Company. The residue of the capital, £IOOO, will ensure the development of the claim in the most practical and speedy The present Proprietor, as a proof of his confidence ia tins Claim, will take 1000 snares of the Capital of the Company. The able services of John Mouat, Esq., M.P.C, as Superintendent of the works, has been secured to this Company—his practical experience and local knowledge are calculated to be highly beneficial to the best interests of the undertaking. Whether regarded from the past success attendant on the partial workings, or from the present prospects of the Claim, of which the most encouraging reports have been received, the Directors do not hesitate to express their conviction tbat an investment in this Company cannot fail to prove very remunerative to the Shareholders. With a view to secure a satisfactory Proprietary, and to obviate the trouble and expense of making Calls on the Shareholders, it has been determined that the full amount of each share shall be paid on application. All applications for Shares are therefore required to be made in the annexed form, and the amount of £1 on each share be paid into the hands of the Bank of Otago, or of Richard Creeth, Esq., Sharebroker, Temple Chambers, Princes-street. If a lesser number of shares be allotted than applied for, the balance -will be returned in cash, immediately after the allotment has taken place. As the number of shares to allot is small, early application is necessary. In allotting the shares, preference will be given to priority of application. FORM OF APPLICATION FOR SHARES.
