Oa MAS.tr. —Several showers which have fallen in the interior during the week, have materially interfered with shearing operations ; but they will be calculated to greatly benefit the farmers’ crops, which are on every hand reported to be getting on most satisfactorily. A consignment of 25 rams of the pme Australian Merino breed was lately brought to hand by the Geelong. They are introduced by Messrs Borton and M ‘Master, of the Marewhenua, and are the first of their class imported into the district. The acquisition of this new and improved blood into the flocks of the district cannot fail to be attended with many advantages. The cheviot flock belonging to M. Holmes, Esq., appear to be giving great satisfaction. The inrease this season has been 140 per cent, of reared lambs. At the last August sales in London, the price realised for wool from this flock realised 23£ d per lb. —Oamaru Times. Clutiia. — A large number of cattle are dying of “ tutu.” Mrs K. M'Neil has lost eight head; Mr Barr, three head ; Mr Dallas lost two valuable working bullocks. I noticed two fine bulls and four more head dead on the ridges, within a short distance of each other, the brands distinguishable, but owners unknown.—Correspondent of Bruce Herald-,

Gold Export.— The export of gold, the produce of the West Coast, for the past montn, gives a total of 45,205 ounces, shipped .as follows :
