MAGISTRATE'S COURT

A further charge of theft; of 9J yards of organdie muslin, valued at 15s Bd, the property of the Port Line, Ltd., to which the accused also pleaded not guilty, was adjourned for a fortnight. Leonard Ralph. Hale, cabinetmaker, 25 (Mr. J. Bergin) was also committed for trial after he had pleaded not guilty to a charge of breaking and entering the Disabled Servicemen's shop in Willis Street en October 18 and there committing theft. A further charge of wilfully damaging an overcoat, . the property of Albert lan Knapp, thereby committing mischief, was adjourned until after the next Supreme Court sessions.
