CHURCH JUBILEE

UPPER HUTT METHODISTS

A special service to commemorate the foundation sixty years ago of Whiteman's Valley Church, now the Upper Hutt Methodist Church, was held last evening, when a congregation of nearly 100 people was present. Mrs. Richard Prouse, an original member of the church, and descendants of the Swanson and Whiteman families, pioneers who had assisted in the erection of the, church, were among them. The .service was conducted by the Rev. F. Purcell' Keall ami Mr. W. Greenwood. __
