PROLONGED GREEK CRISIS
LONDON, October 28.
Negotiations for the formation of a new Government, which M. Venizelos is conducting between the Populist and the Liberals, broke down yesterday when the Populists insisted on the adoption of a majority system, says Reuters Athens correspondent. The prolonged Cabinet crisis has caused a steady deterioration in the economic conditions of Greece, with rising prices and diminishing supplies.
