DOCKERS' STRIKE
THREAT TO BRITISH LARDER
LONDON, October 28. i The Minister of Education, Miss Wilkinson, gave a warning today that the continuation of the dock _ stoke must lead to bread rationing m Britain. She said that unless the gram ships could be turned round and got back to Canada before the bt. Lawrence River froze, bread would have to be rationed this winter. She said the attempt of the dockers to force Cabinet to intervene was a threat to the recognised way of solving important disputes by recognised mA?°Grimsby, dockers voted by a small majority to return to work but no change is reported from othei strike-bound P^^ 2? The Transport and General Workers' Union states that Bristol and Avonmouth dockers have agreed to an immediate resumption of work, ltiey have appealed to other ports to follow suit without delay.
