The Whangftiei Racing Club's Spring Meeting opened in dull weather. There wa^ a record attendance, and the totalisator handled £36,737 10s, compared with £32,111 at the last Autumn Meeting, and £14,053 for the last Spring Meeting, held in 1940. Results were:—
