CHURCH UNITY

The movement towards unity in the Church is progressing, the mutual^ recognition of the Anglican and Orthodox churches being a marked step in this direction. In Britain recently Russian and Greek prelates were received by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and participated in services at Canterbury, York, and St. Paul's Cathedrals, and at Westminster Abbey. Tomorrow night the Very Rev. Chrysostom, Archimandrite of the Greek Orthodox Church in New Zealand, accompanied by a Greek choir, will take part in the service of Solemn Evensong at St. Barnabas' Anglican Church, Roseneath (Festival of Si Simon and St. Jude). The Archimandrite will also officially open the religious exhibition which is to be held in St. Barnabas'; Parish Hall next week. ■ ' ' ■■•-•*'■'
