BIG LABOUR SWEEP

Labour has won 15 of the 24 new divisions so far decided, as follows:— Birmingham (Acqcks Green Division), Coventry (East Division), Ealing (West Division), .Ilford (South Division), Buckinghamshire (Eton and Slough Division), Essex (Barking Division), Essex (Dagenham Division), Essex (Thurrock Division), Hertford (Barnet Division), Kent (Besley Division), Middlesex (Harrow East Division), Middlesex (Heston and Isleworth Division), Middlesex (Southall Division), Middlesex (Wembley North Division), Middlesex (Wembley South Division). The Conservatives won Blackpool (North Division), Chester (Bucklow Division), Kent (Orpington Division), Middlesex (Hendon South Division), Surrey (Carshalton Division), Surrey (Sutton and Cheam Division), West Sussex (Worthing Division), Werwick (Solihull Division), and Down (two members).
