WAR CRIMINAL TRIAL

THE FIRST TO BE HELD IN PRAGUE LONDON, July 25. Dr. Eger, the Czechoslovakia!! representative on the War Crimes Commission, stated that "The Butcher of Lidice," Frank, will be the first war criminal to be tried. The trial will begin in Prague, probably on August 1, says the correspond it of the Associated Press of Great Britain. Dr. Eger added that Frank will be surrendered to the Czechoslovakian Government for trial and will be charged with crimes committed in Czechoslovakia. Regardless of the outcome of these trials, Frank will be returned to the War Crimes Commission for trial on other indictments. If he was sentenced to death in Prague or elsewhere, hs said, he would be executed in Czechoslovakia.
