P.A. ■ HAMILTON, This Day. A total surplus of £1,518,535 In the company's profit and (loss accounts for the 1944-45 season }vas announced by Mr.. C. J. Parlane, general manager of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Co.- Mr. Parlane said the total included amounts due to, approximately 12,000 suppliers to the company's cheese, butter, and evaporated milk factories. The deferred payment to be made to shareholding suppliers to the butter department was 2.799 d. The total average payment foi the finest quality butterfat. Including cartage, was 20.6144 d. Payments to be made to suppliers to the company's 24 cheese factories vary according to local conditions, the average over all factories being 22.4524 d.
