DEATH AT 115
IRELAND'S OLDEST WOMAN Rec. 11.20 a.m. LONDON, July 25. Ireland's oldest woman, who claimed to be the oldest woman in Europe, Mrs. Bridie Martin, of the village of Donaghmore. Tipperary\ died today at the age of 115. She travelled in the first coach in Ireland and read the newspapers daily. She took a keen interest in the war.
Both of her parents lived to the age of 100.

Northern Ireland during the war sent Britain £3.000,000 worth of sheep and cattle a year, provided 20 per cent, of her eggs, and produced 500 tanks and 500 guns. These figures were given by the Premier of Northern Ireland, Sir Basil Brooke, speaking in the House of Commons.
