Address by Nurse McClurg.
Mrs. C. L. Worboys presided at the July meeting of the. Apollo Women's Club. The guest speaker was Nurse McClurg, vvho gave a graphic description of "her visit to America, with special reference to such places as the Yossmite Valley, Washington, and Louisiana. Gifis of wool to be sent to the Polish children's camp Were handed in by members. A request was received from Mr.' Hartnian for pullovers for some of the 13-year-old boys at the cant p. and it was decided to purchase three or four with .earn donations in hand. Four members of the dub promised to knit one pullover each. Enjoyable elocutionary items were sriven by Miss Gladys Gunn.and vocal solos, by Miss Nelson. . •
