AUSTRIAN'S FALSE CLAIM

LONDON, July 24. Vienna radio, referring to the recent statement in Paris by "Paul Lambert" about conditions in Austria, says that the leader of the Provisional Government, Dr. Renner, categorically stated that he did not charge Lambert, whose real name was Ernst Lemberger, with any mission, and his claim to have been sent to London and Paris as the Chancellor's special envoy or an emissary of the Austrian Government was false.

Dr. Renner added that Lemberger was charged with resuming contacts between the Socialist Parties of Austria and France, and to that extent he was an emissary of the Austrian Socialist Party.
