DEAD IN PHILIPPINES
WASHINGTON, July 22. "An additional 3629 enemy dead have been counted and 403 captured in the mopping-up operations in the Philippines in the past week. Our casualties in the same period have been 12 killed, two missing, and 48 wounded," General Mac Arthur reports.
