IMPORTANT PRISONER
GERMAN SECRETS REVEALED
LONDON, July 23,
Sweeping disclosures which have been made by Dr. Albert Speer, former Reich Minister of War Production, and Dr. Osenberg, head of the -Reich Research Council, haye assured complete success for the Allied campaign to extract every possible war and industrial secret from Germany, says a correspondent of the "News Chronicle."
Through his willingness to pour out secret technical information and explain the data in his files, Dr. Speer has proved to be probably the most important single prisoner the Allies have taken. Osenberg's documents include a list of 15,000 leading German technicians and the files of the German Patent Office, consisting of a quarter of a million volumes, which have been recovered from a salt mine near Gotha.
