FIJIAN AWARDED SILVER STAR

The War Department has announced that Private Fred Charles Narruhn, Fijian soldier attached to the United States forces^ as an interpreter, was awarded the Silver Star for conduct under fire in action on November 20----22, 1943, at Makin atoll, in the Gilbert Islands.
