YOUTHS FOR SENTENCE
Two youths residing in Petone, Jack Richard Dyas and John Logan, pleaded guilty at the Lower Hutt ■ Court today to joint charges of breaking and entering the A.T.C. office, High Street, Lower Hutt and stealing two, rifles, breaking a plate-glass window, valued at £30, in the premises of H. L. Fraser, High Street, and stealing rings valued at £26. ..They were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Dyas also pleaded guilty to breaking a plate-glass-window in . the. premises of G. W. Cairns, Jackson Street, Petone, and stealing a pair of shoes; and to entering the premises of Mrs. T.- Cording. Jackson Street, and stealing £15 2s 6d and a Post Office money box containing about £4. He was committed for sentence, also on these charges Messrs. A. J. Gearing and F. S; Hewer J.P.s, were on the Bench.
