FLYING BOMB ATTACKS

None for Over Three Days Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 4. The lull in the flying-bomb attacks, which at 4.30 today had lasted 74 hours, continues. Prior to the lull it is officially estimated that approximately 8070 flying bombs were launched against southern England. During the week which ended at 6 a.m. on Monday it is estimated that the enemy launched some 370 flying bombs against England. There have been no flying-bomb attacks since September 1, and the course of events in Northern France and Belgium gives reason to believe that they are no longer operating.—U.P.A. and 8.0. W.
