Schedules for the, 1944 Walrarapa Show mas be obtained free on application to the Secretary, P.O. Box 25, Carterton. The schedule has been completely revised and new classes are found in all sections. The prize money for ring events has heen considerably Increased and the championships in the other sections are also worth more. The Friesian section Is particularly attractive, with the N.Z. Friesian Association's silver challenge cups allocated for competition. The local branch of the association, and several local breeders, have added specials to most of the classes. In the sheep section are the New Zealand Romney Marsh North Island championship shields. The Southdown Society has donated medals for specified classes there, and the horse section has cups for champion lady's hack and champion pony for the- $how. The provincial championship for Highland dancing is a feature of th« night show. •"-.
