VICHY MILITIA EXECUTED

LONDON, September 2. Six members of Darnand's French militia were executed outside their former barracks at Grenoble today, says a British United Press correspondent. They had been/ sentenced to death after the first court-martials -conducted in accordance with the regulations drawn up by the National Council of Liberation.

The Exchange Telegraph agency correspondent says that 4000 people, including women, some of whom carried babies, watched the executions and cheered exultantly when volleys from six firing squads rang out . simultaneously.
