VICTORY CONCERT PLANNED

NEW YORK, August 31. Eugene Ormandy, conductor of the •Philadelphia .Symphony Orchestra, who has returned from Australia, said General Mac Arthur is so confident of the liberation of the Philippines that he invited Ormandy to lead the Manila Symphony Orchestra in a victory concert. Ormandy accepted, and will fly to Manila with key men from his own orchestra to celebrate the victory when the Philippines are retaken.
