J.—A loving tribute to Hec., who died August 31, 1944, at Wellington Hospital, result of wounds received in action overseas. Freda, Charlie, and family. TOMBS.—On August 31, 1944, at tb,e Wellington Hospital, as result of war wounds, Sergeant Hector John Tombs, beloved brother of Mrs. K. Chudley, 11 Sydney St., Petone; aged 29 years. Interment at Kaikoura.
