LIBERATED PRISONERS x

An inquiry as to the amount parents and relatives would be able to remit to repatriated prisoners of war when they arrived in Britain was made in the House of Representatives yesterday by Mr. J. N. Massey (National, Franklin). - The Minister, of Finance (Mr. Nash) explained that two years ago arrangements were made to enable relatives to remit the full amount allowed each year when the time arrived. In addition, said Mr. Nash, the prisoners of war would have made "-avail-" able to them their cumulative pay.
