MAN-POWER OFFENCES

Breaches of the man-power, regulations were dealt with by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Edward Patrick McQuillan was fined £5 for failing to work at employment to which he had' been directed, and William Martin was fined £2 for failing to register for essential work.

George Gallate was fined £3 for employing a woman without the permission of the man-power officer, and was convicted and ordered to pay costs for employing a woman who had left essential work without permission, and for employing a woman who had been directed- to other work.

Edwina Eriwata Was convicted and ordered to pay costs for failing to comply with a direction of a man-power officer and for failing to notify her change of address.
