MR. J. G. C. BAKER
INVERCARGILL, Sept. 2.
P.A. INVERCARGILL, Sept. 2. The death has occurred of Mr. James George Charles Baker, engineer to the Wallace County Council. Mr. Baker over a long period of years took a prominent part in public affairs in Otautau and western Southland. He was born in Invercargill in 1881, a son of Mr. G. C. Baker, a well-known business man in Dunedin for many years.
