TAKING CLEARER SHAPE

Rec. 2.30 p.m. LONDON, August 31. The long-awaited conference between Britain, America, and -Russia seems to be taking clearer shape,, says the diplomatic correspondent of "The Times.";; All the Governments agree that no time should be lost and that the conference should really be formative and constructive, with the powers examining every major European problem which can be seen at present, or is" anticipated. Mr. Eden today saw Mr. Maisky and Mr. Winant preparatory to the. talks, which may continue - for some , days. It appears agreed that the meeting should be on a Foreign Secretary level. Mr. Eden will represent Britain, M. Molotov will possibly represent the Soviet, and Mr. Harry Hopkins or Mr. Winant will represent the United States.
