(Rec. 1 p.m.)
LONDON, May 23,
Diving from clouds, a bomber made a surprise attack on a south-east coast town this morning.
One building rocked as a stick of heavy bombs exploded.
Anti-aircraft guns went into action, but the raider was apparently not hit. It flew towards the French coast. — U.P.A.
