BRITON'S APFEAL FAILS
(Bee. 10 a.m.) TOKIO, May 23. The Supreme Court has denied the appeal of Lieutenant Vincent Peters, of the British Navy, for the mitigation of the sentence of five years' imprisonment imposed by the Osaka Appelate Court in July, 1938, on a charge of violation of the militaiT secrets protection law.—U.P.A.
