The Foxton Racing Club's Winter Meeting was held on the Levin course. The weather is fine and there is a good attendance. The track is holding after rain. Trial Handicap, £100; 6 furlongs — 1-1 Te Oriko, 8.5 (Redstone), 1; 6-5 La Rosita. 8.5 (Mudford), 2; 2-2 Eastern Sport, 8.5 (Broughton), 3. All started. One and a half lengths; three lengths.
