OUTPUT MATCHES AXIS
LONDON. May 22
An optimistic report on the position of the steel industry in the United States was given today by the President of the American Iron and Steel Institute. He said that the steel industry could match, ton for ton. the whole capacity of Germany and the stolen lands. He added that there was plenty of steel for all the defence needs.
