LECTURES IN DENTISTRY
The Victoria College Council, at its meeting last night, adopted a proposal that lectures on prosthetic dentistry should be conducted in Wellington, so that dentists attending Victoria University College should not be prejudiced when they go to Dunedin to continue their courses.

If the Education Department acts on a proposal adopted today by the Canterbury Education Board no conscientious objectors or pacifists exempted from military service will be eligible for positions carrying higher salai-ies and temporarily vacated by soldier teachers.
