ENEMY VIGOROUSLY HARASSED

LONDON, May 21

Our mechanised patrols in North Africa have again vigorously harassed the enemy in the Solium area. There is no change in the situation at Tobruk.

R.A.F. planes have continued their offensive patrols in the Western Desert. One Junkers 52 was set on fire and destroyed and a Messerschmitt 110 was shot down just after it had taken off. Enemy motor transport was effectively machine-gunned in the Gazala and Tobruk areas.
