RABBITSKINS IN DEMAND.
A large offering of approximately 65 tons was submitted to auction at the Dunedin rabbitskin sale. There was a keen demand, all grades and descriptions meeting a ready sale. Exporters held good orders and secured the bulk of the offering. As compared with last sale's quotations, winter grades appreciated 96. to Is per lb, autumn 6d to 9d per lb, and other grades 2d to 3d per lb. Winters, especially bucks, realised high prices, and 150 d per lb was reported.
