The Nelson passenger steamer Matangi withdraws from the service on May 29 and lays up for overhaul and survey. The Arahura does not sail until May 31, and thereafter passenger sailings will be made by the Arahura only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. A vessel taking cargo only will sail on intervening days.
