MARRIED MEN
CLASSIFICATION MADE
TWENTY CLASSES
Provision for the reclassification of the second division (married men) of the General Reserve has been made.'. This division has been ,
divided into 20 classes.
These classes are set out in a Gazette notice issued today. They comprise four groups each of five, subdivided, according to age and the number of children. For example, the biggest class—married men aged 21 to 40, both inclusive —is subdivided as follows: —
Class F-0, no children; Class F-l, one child; Class F-2, two children; Class F-3, three children; Class F-4, four or more children.
A similar subdivision is made in the case of all the other classes, namely, married men aged 41 to 45, both inclusive, denoted by the letter G. married men aged 18 and 19 denoted by the letter D, and married men aged 20 denoted by the letter E.
Although the Second Division of the reserve has been classified, the married men are not required to, and must not, effect registration until the issue of a proclamation directing enrolment of the division, which will be at a later date.
