■ Berlin announced that German parachutists and air-borne troops landed in Crete early on May 20 after intensive preparation' by dive-bomber attacks. It is claimed that the German troops made a bold .thrust and have taken a number of points on the island, and that the operations are continuing according to plan.—U.P.A.
