TOKIO, May 20

The newspapers claim that the United States has strongly "warned the Government of French Indo-China not to follow the lead of the Vichy Government towards the Axis. •■

The "Yomiuri Shimbun" declared the warning was an expression of American antipathy towards Vichy, and also an attempt to disturb the Japanese Indo-Chinese rapprochement.—U.P.A.
