ACCIDENTS

John Ever?, aged 16, of 18 Witako Street, Lower Hutt, had his right leg fractured .and his right foot injured when he was knocked down by a lorry in Waiwetu Road yesterday afternoon Mr. C. Maule, 5 Market Street, had the third finger of his left hand severed by a circular saw when, .working on Aotea Quay yesterday afternoon. Struck by a motor-cycle in Customhouse Quay late yesterday afternoon. Mr. E. Newman, a labourer, of 11 Epuni Street, suffered slight concussion. A waterside worker, Mr. J. Sharpe, of 132 Ghuznee Street, suffered head injuries while working at Pipitea Wharf late last night.

All the injured persons were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
