HOPUHOPU MILITARY CAMP
(By Telegraph—Press .Association.)
AUCKLAND, March 26
"The military camp at Hopuhopu is not a fit place for our men in winter, and it is not fair that, troops should be under canvas in winter when those elsewhere had good quarters," said Sir Ernest. Davis, chairman of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council, at a meeting of the standing committee. Similar comments were made by others present, and representations are to be made to the authorities.
