The weather was overcast for I;he Eangitikei Racing Club's Spring Meet" ing. The attendance was large and the track was in good order.

Trial Stakes, £90; 5 furlongs.—l-1 Silverhope, 8.5 (Atkins), 1; 5-6 Sandy Bay, 7.7 (Stewart), 2; 4-3 Princess Merling, 8.5 (Morris), 3. Scr.: Desert Sun, Oraiti, Royal Crest. Three lengths; two lengths. Time, Imin 2 3-5 sec.
Rangitikei Plate, £110; 1 mile and t a distance.—l-2 Gold Bridge, 12.0 (G. vßeatson), 1; 4-5 Red Chief, 10.13 (K. Duncan), and 3-1 Rhodes, 10.10 (M. Power), dead heat, 2. All started. Length. Time, lmin 59 4-ssec.
