ELECTION ODDS

MR. ROOSEVELT FEELS SAFE

LONDON. November 1

All news from the United States is now centred on the Presidential election, which is to be held on Tuesday. The latest betting on Wall Street shows odds of only 5 to 4 on President Roosevelt, which are considerably narrower than those of a few days ago. A month ago he made his own forecast, and he has now said, "Yesterday I looked at it again and decided that.it was still sale."
