The King has awarded the Silver Medal for Gallantry and Humanity to Jose Otero Caamano and Juan Mascato Panan, members of the crew of the Spanish fishing vessel Meco, who showed the greatest disregard for their personal safety in rescuing survivors from the oil tanker Telerna, which had been attacked and sot on fire by an enemy submarine nciu: the Spanish coast last May. ':
