CRICKET IN THE STREET
Three adults, Edward George Beas-> ley, Francis Finnigan, and Thomas John Illing, who were charged with playing cricket in Martin Square, to the annoyance of the public, were each fined 10s and costs by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. Constable Morley said that as a result of complaints he visited the neighbourhood on Sunday, October 13, and found five people, the defendants and two juveniles, playing cricket, . The .ball was bouncing against the sides of houses and causing considerable annoyance to people in the vicinity.
