U.S. TOOLS AND TANKERS

WASHINGTON, October 15,

President Roosevelt in reply to a question at his Press conference said machine tools not required for defence would be available to Russia, and other friendly Powers.

It is understood that 7,000,000 dollars' worth of tools and oil tankers totalling 51,000 tons for the transport of petrol have been released to Russia since August.
