(Received October 17, 11.20 a.m.) HANOI, October 16. The Vichy Government has ordered Indo-China to resist any attempt by Thailand to violate the boundaries of Cambodia and Laos. The French defences have been tightened, with attention again centring on Thailand's demands. The forthcoming visit by the Governor, Admiral Decoux, to the King of Cambodia, Sisowath Monivor.c, is inter, preted as an assurance of French support for the Cambodians against Thailand.
