TERRITORIAL DUTY

POSTING OF BALLOTED

MEN

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Within the next few days a start will be made throughout New Zealand in posting to Territorial units men selected in the recent ballot and passed medically fit. Men posted to units not yet called up for continuous training under the home defence scheme will be required to spend three months in camp with their unit, and thereafter will be required to do periodical parades and a fortnight's annual camp.

Men posted to units that have already begun continuous training will service with their units in camp until the end of December and afterwards carry on with out-of-camp training. Meanwhile, men posted to units that do not begin continuous training until January will be issued with uniforms and equipment and organised into companies and so on.
