RUGBY, October 16.

The Secretary of State for War (Mr. Anthony Eden) has arrived in Egypt.

It is understood that he is to have conversations with Sir Archibald Wavell, the British Com-mander-in-Chief in the Middle East. Mr. Eden will also visit contingents of the British and Allied forces in the Middle East.
