SCHOOLS AND FIRE RISK
Any additional fire risk due to schools being used for the training of the New Zealand Home Guard is to be accepted by the Government, the Wellington Education Board has been advised by the Education Department. Consequently, the board will not be required to effect special insurance, but all possible safeguards are to be taken to minimise loss by fire.
